Putting together all the merch and folding CDs for tour gives you an opportunity to reflect. You get to worry about making enough to get to the next town, how many people are going to be there and if it’ll keep the promoters happy. Then you stop and you realize that you get to do what you love and share that with people. At the end of the day, that’s all I’m looking for. Yes, it will be awesome when (as Leslie Feist puts it) “my dreams [will] match up with my pay” but it’s already awesome that I’m doing what I love.
A lot of you have sent me podcasts and albums to listen to on my drives, keep em coming and maybe we can talk about them on a tour stop. If you’re on the fence about going to a show (which is easier done than said), I’d say come out and let me show you the best Briar Rabbit yet. You can get tickets for those shows here.
